Community Guidelines

The behavior we expect from everyone in the LyfManager community.

LyfManager works because of trust. Clients invite LyfManagers into their homes and their daily lives, and LyfManagers rely on clients to treat them fairly. These Community Guidelines describe the behavior we expect from everyone. They apply alongside our Terms of Service.

1. Treat everyone with respect

Be kind, courteous, and professional in every interaction. Discrimination, harassment, hate speech, and threats of any kind are never allowed. We welcome people of every background, and we expect the same from you.

2. Keep people safe

Safety comes first, always. Do not arrive impaired, do not bring weapons into a client's home, and follow safe practices for any task you take on. If a situation ever feels unsafe, pause the work and contact us.

3. Be reliable

Show up on time and honor the commitments you accept. If you must cancel, give as much notice as you can. Repeated missed appointments hurt the whole community and may lead to removal from the Platform.

4. Be honest

Provide truthful information about your identity, your skills, and your experience. Only offer services you are genuinely able to perform. Never create fake reviews or misrepresent what happened during a service.

5. Respect homes and property

Treat every home and every belonging with care. Ask before using items that are not part of the task, clean up after your work, and report any accidental damage right away.

6. Protect privacy

What you see and hear in someone's home stays private. Do not share photos, personal details, or stories about clients or their families without clear permission.

7. Keep payments on the Platform

All bookings and payments must go through LyfManager. Arranging cash or outside payments puts both sides at risk and removes the protections we provide.

8. For clients

  • Provide a safe and respectful environment for your LyfManager.
  • Describe tasks clearly and agree on expectations in advance.
  • Pay for the time worked and leave honest feedback.

9. For LyfManagers

  • Communicate clearly and arrive prepared.
  • Stay within the scope of the agreed service.
  • Carry any certification required for sensitive tasks such as babysitting.

10. Reporting and enforcement

If someone breaks these guidelines, tell us. We review every report and may warn, suspend, or permanently remove anyone who violates our rules.

Serious issues, including violence, abuse, theft, or endangering a child, result in immediate removal and may be reported to the authorities.
